A Personal Message from DDSA CEO Craig Wahl
To all our Customers
With effect from midnight on the 26th of March 2020, DataDot Technology SA heeded the call by President Cyril Ramaphosa to enter a nation-wide lockdown for 21 days and we temporarily closed our manufacturing facilities for the duration of this period.
As we enter the second phase of this historic lockdown, we find ourselves in the midst of one of the most challenging and uncertain moments in our lifetimes and without a doubt a very worrying time for families and for businesses. I wanted to therefore take this opportunity to communicate with you and assure you that the well-being of our staff and customers is as important as it has ever been.
Our operations have been impacted during this period, with us not being in a position to supply an existing or prospective customer with product. We are however still available telephonically and electronically as management and other eligible office-based employees will be working remotely from their homes until we re-open again at the end of April 2020.
During these trying times we have focused much of our energy on our Associate Company – Ishishini Lethu. The company was started in 2013 as an enterprise development initiative of DataDot Technology SA and is a social enterprise addressing economic issues in South Africa whilst offering a multi facet solution to B-BBEE scorecards. Through their Skills, Supplier, Enterprise and Socio Development solutions they are able to help companies benefit from B-BBEE spend. To alleviate the socio-economic impact of the COVID19, businesses are able to use their socio-economic spend to help nourish the vulnerable segments of SA. Should you have any queries with regards to this please feel free to contact me directly on email@example.com.
In closing, keep safe, keep healthy and let’s work together in flattening the curve of COVID-19.
CEO DataDot Technology South Africa
