SUBJECT : GEM VILLAGE PROJECT : LYTTELTON POLICING AREA, PRETORIA
This office wishes to thank you for your involvement in the GEM Village project. You never hesitated to involve Data Dot when requested to assist. GEM Village was crime ridden in the past and most of old people staying at GEM Village were living in fear that they will be attacked or their property stolen.
Due to this crime problem a project was launched to assist these old people in their plea. Data Dot was involved in the marking of all the old people's property and also sponsored a warning billboard at the gate warning potential criminals that all the property of the old people are marked with Data Dot technology. This was all done against your own cost.
This office can now report that as from 7 May 2010 with the official launch of the project no crime whatsoever emanated from GEM Village. The GEM Village inhabitants are now staying and doing their business in peace.
This project can indeed be classified as a success and an excellent example of different role players working together in our fight against crime. Again thank you for your involvement in making this project a success. It is much appreciated.
Yours sincerely
